Our paper on extracting the speed of sound in the quark gluon plasma (QGP) has been published in Reports on Progress in Physics. It is exciting to achieve this precise experimental constraint on one of most fundamental properties of the QGP, which provides direct evidence for a deconfined quark-gluon state.
